Police Log: Man Taking Photo of Woman at Target, Sisters Fighting, Man Loses $1,300

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 23

7:23 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance on Jefferson Street. He said one of his tenants was causing a problem. The man was highly intoxicated, he said. Police responded and called an ambulance to the building. The tenant was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

7:50 p.m.: A crash was reported on Water Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge Eusebio Mendoza Ruelas, 46, of 1 Redwood Dr., Milford, with allowing improper operation of a motor vehicle. Police arrested Antonio Barrera, 29, of 33 Sumner St., Apt. 3, Milford, on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

8:11 p.m.: A caller said her daughter stole her prescription drugs. Police filed a report.

8:59 p.m.: A caller asked police to check on her 13-year-old daughter, who she said is staying with her father but is acting out of sorts. Police checked and everything was OK.

9:08 p.m.: A woman called police and asked officers to remove her daughter. About the same time, the daughter called police. The daughter told an officer her mother had tried to push her down the stairs. In the call, the mother could be heard yelling at her in the background. Several officers responded and spoke to both of them.

9:08 p.m.: A caller said she had locked herself in her bedroom, because her brother is out of control. The brother was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.

9:34 p.m.: A caller said her two daughters were fighting, and throwing things around the house on Congress Street. Several other calls came in to police from neighbors, reporting a domestic. Police responded and arrested Kiara Lopez, 22, of 655 Boston Post RD., Apt. 1206, Sudbury, on charges of domestic assault and battery and wanton destruction of property, worth more than $250.

11:56 p.m.: A woman reported she was locked inside the Storage Pros storage center.

Wednesday, July 24

12:45 a.m.: An officer said he was removing youths from the football field at Milford High School.

1:35 a.m.: Youths were causing a noise problem at Tomaso Field. Police spoke to them.

1:48 a.m.: A caller said she drove by TD's Pub, heading toward downtown, and as she passed she saw a man in a dark sedan, parked on the left hand side of the road, waving a firearm in the air. The vehicle had a passenger. Police responded but could not locate the car.

6:41 a.m.: A caller at Spectrum Health Systems said a man was at the top of the entrance who had been asked to leave, but refused to do so. It is an ongoing problem relating to him, the caller said.

11:23 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said he lost $1,300 after leaving Milford Federal Savings and Loan the previous day.

12:29 p.m.: A caller said her car was 'keyed' while she was parked at the lot in Stop & Shop.

3:14 p.m.: Milford Regional Medical Center security asked for police assistance with a patient.

4:32 p.m.: Several officers and a detective responded to Target, where a woman said a man had taken pictures up her skirt. He had white hair and a blue shirt and black pants and was wearing glasses. He was leaving the store as she called.

5:47 p.m.: A caller on Capitol Road said mail was all over the road. He called back to report someone had picked it up.

7:24 p.m.: A small, outdoor fire was reported on Water Street. Firefighters responded.

9:20 p.m.: A man called to report his son was out of control. Officers responded.

Thursday, July 25

3:12 a.m.: A man said he saw a man wearing a tan hoodie and going through his wife's car, on Leonard Street. Police responded. The man had left when the homeowner came out with a flashlight.

10:15 a.m.: A driver said she thought someone had shot at her windshield with a BB gun, on East Main Street at Fortune Boulevard. She said she was traveling from Holliston and it happened right before the intersection.

11:40 a.m.: A woman said her work van was broken into on Main Street, and things were taken. She said she would stop into the police station to file a report when she returned from work.

1:03 p.m.: A woman asked police to check on the well-being a man and a toddler at Lowe's. The man appeared to be sleeping in his car. Police checked and everything was OK.

2:28 p.m.: A caller complained that suspicious orders were being placed at Domino's Pizza. The caller said a man had been ordering pizzas sent to his ex-girlfriend's house. The family of the woman wanted this stopped.
