Police Log: Man Watching Houses, Can of Rocks Falls on 10-Year-Old

Sunday, Sept. 15

9:11 p.m.: A caller said a car had been parked on Mark Drive for 40 minutes. An orange light was coming from inside and loud noises. Police responded but the car was gone.

9:19 p.m.: A caller on Hayward Street reported loud noise coming from the area.

9:24 p.m.: A caller reported a hit and run at Congress and Exchange streets. The woman driving the other car left and after the accident, she switched seats with the male passenger. The victim was in a red Honda Accord. Police filed a report.

Monday, Sept. 16

4:32 a.m.: A truck ran off I-495 northbound into the woods near Exit 19. The driver was not injured.

5:44 a.m.: A woman reported a man was assaulting his girlfriend. Police found no physical abuse, just an argument.

6:47 a.m.: A caller reported a man was sitting in a car acting suspiciously. He was watching people leave their homes on Tanglewood Drive. Police responded but the man was gone.

6:55 a.m.: A man reported another man had just come back home after police left, and was now assaulting a woman. The woman then called and reported she had been struck. Police responded but she refused medical treatment.

7:34 a.m.: Police arrested Brian Kennedy, 38, of 15 Julian LN, Milford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

8:56 a.m.: Police received a report that a man was sleeping in his car behind the practice field at Milford High School. Police responded and arrested Jorge Ordonez, 22, of 24 Court St., Milford, on a warrant.

9:42 a.m.: An employee at Five Guys Burgers and Fries called to say someone had left their wallet. Police left a message with the owner's brother.

1:05 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report that someone had entered his home on West Street and stolen his prescription medication. Police were investigating.

3:00 p.m.: A caller reported loud music on Winter at Granite streets. Police could not locate the noise.

3:40 p.m.: A woman reported she was being defrauded of collection payments that she had made to a debt collection agency. Police referred her to court as it is a civil matter.

4:16 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Julian Lane. A woman said she wanted a man removed. Police arrested Brian Kennedy, 38, of 15 Julian Lane, Milford, on a warrant.

5:41 p.m.: A man reported jewelry and medicines were taken from his home on Green Street. Police were investigating.

6:53 p.m.: A caller said she had found gunpowder at her Congress Street home and wanted it removed.

8:53 p.m.: A caller on Congress at Walnut streets said a vehicle in front of him was driving erratically, swerving all over the road. Police pulled over the driver and gave the driver a verbal warning.

9:41 p.m.: A caller reported a power line on Vine Street was sparking and a tree was catching fire. National Grid was notified. Firefighters also responded.

9:47 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and reported her wallet had been stolen at work, at Bugaboo Creek Steak House. She said this had also happened to other employees.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

1:42 a.m.: A woman called from Maher Court, saying another woman had come to her door yelling for an ambulance. Police responded but the woman refused treatment. Police gave her a courtesy ride home.

8:21 a.m.: A caller on Court Street said his bike had been stolen. It was a mountain bike worth about $300.

8:41 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Street at the BP Gas station, police arrested Arielle Ellen Attias, 24, of NH Route 28, Apt. 2, Derry, NH, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, furnishing a false name or social security number, a tire tread depth violation and tire outside fender.

9:37 a.m.: EMTs responded to Cedar Street, where a 10-year-old had a trash can of rocks fall on his legs. He was up and walking when the person called.

10:49 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop outside Milford Town Library, police arrested Arielle Ellen Attias, 24, of NH Route 28, Apt. 2, Derry, NH, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, furnishing a false name or social security number, tire tread depth violation and tire outside fender.

11:29 a.m.: A woman reported she had lost a black Volkswagen key on the bike path at the Cedar Street parking area.

12:23 p.m.: A caller at Alternatives on Sumner Street reported that $600 was stolen from petty cash.

12:36 p.m.: A theft was reported at Auto Zone.

12:39 p.m.: Illegal dumping was reported on Purchase Street.

1:15 p.m.: A man who lives on Hemlock Lane reported gas was taken from his vehicle and his tire slashed.

1:46 p.m.: A woman on Medway Road said a female youth with long brown hair, who appeared to be about 15, had thrown a hub cap under her car while a male youth, about the same age, video taped it. Police responded but the youths were gone.

5:50 p.m.: Several people called police to complain of solicitors in front of the Target entrance.
