Police Log: Motorcyclist Accidentally Flashes, Illegal Burning

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, April 29

5:44 p.m.: A woman told an employee at Wendy's that a woman had flashed her. The woman was wearing a pink flowered dress. A police officer reported it didn't sound like an indecent exposure incident, but a biker who didn't cover themselves enough. Police were going to follow up with the caller by asking her to come speak to an officer.

6:35 p.m.: Youths were reported to be on skateboards and bikes on the tennis courts at Milford Town Park.

6:58 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving up and down, very slowly, on Iadarola Avenue. Police caught up with the vehicle on Madden Avenue. It was a Tru Green representative checking on lawns.

7:00 p.m.: A woman reported she had been involved in a domestic earlier that day in another town. She said it was an ongoing issue with her and her boyfriend. Police requested an ambulance to take the woman to Milford Regional Medical Center for a small laceration to her face.

7:32 p.m.: A caller reportd three girls under age 10 were riding bikes in the middle of Silver Hill Road with no adults around. Police spoke to the mother of the children, who would speak to her children.

Tuesday, April 30

12:22 a.m.: A caller reported a blue vehicle with out of state plates had been running for more than an hour at Wendy's, in the rear parking lot. Police checked and the driver checked out OK.

5:39 a.m.: Four citations were issued to drivers near Milford High School.

6:36 a.m.: A caller on Claflin Street said a man was going through trash. Police took him to his family.

7:12 a.m.: A caller on Hayward Street said her daughter would not go to school.

7:14 a.m.: A woman reported she had a restraining order against a man, and he was following her. Police arrested Ruben D. Morales, 46, of 63 Western Ave., Framingham, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

9:04 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported near Peter's Market.

11:20 a.m.: A caller reported smoke in the area of the power lines on East Main Street. A caller traced the fire to Medway. The Medway Fire Department was contacted. Police reported a homeowner in Medway had a permit to burn, but the fire had since spread into the woods. 

12:10 p.m.: Leaves were burning on Whispering Pine Drive, with no permit. Firefighters reported the homeowner was burning leaves and it has now gotten out of control. An officer went to the address to speak to the person. The Fire Department is now asking all fires to be put out for the day.

12:42 p.m.: A caller asked to speak to police about suspicious activity in the bathroom of Dunkin Donuts on Main Street.

2:23 p.m.: Hopkinton Fire Department reported a possible brush fire in the area of Camp Street and Pine Island Road.

3:32 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report four youths were skateboarding in the tennis courts.
