Police Log: Tires Slashed at Dunkins, Vandalism Arrest

Thursday, April 18
4:18 p.m.: A caller told police a car had backed into a house on Court Square and then left, heading east on Route 16. Medway Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Summer Street in that town. Police are seeking a summons to charge Karen E. Soter, 55, of 71 Summer St., Medway, with leaving the scene of property damage.
6:32 p.m.: Riverside Community Services asked police to check on the well-being of a woman who had been speaking with a clinician. Police checked and she was OK.

6:37 p.m.: A woman reported she was receiving threats from her boyfriend's ex-wife. Police determined no threats had been made, and no crime had occurred. Police spoke to the woman about how to obtain an harassment order.
6:52 p.m.: A caller at Tedeschi said a man in his 50s outside was foaming at the mouth, but breathing. Several more calls came in reporting this medical emergency. The man was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

7:19 p.m.: A caller reported three people were walking around a fence on Quarry Drive, carrying a tripod and camera. Police checked them out and they were OK.
8:45 p.m.: A caller told police a white pickup truck and a black Jeep were acting suspiciously at Bank of America on Prospect Street. Police determined it was two friends at the ATM.
10:25 p.m.: A caller told police about three minutes before he had heard a woman crying on Congress Street and she said something about a gun. The woman left in a white SUV. Police pulled her over and determined she was upset about a family pet that had died.
Friday, April 19
6:06 a.m.: A caller on Mill Pond Circle reported a trash can at the end of her driveway did not belong to her. Police checked and everything was OK.
6:57 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported at Route 65 and Cedar Street. When police arrived, the cars were gone.
8:53 a.m.: An officer reported he was on a detail on Route 16 when a woman approached him and said she was pretty sure she had seen one of the men involved in the Boston Marathon bombing. She provided a license plate. Police notified Mendon, where the car was registered. Police advised they would attempt to contact.
9:49 a.m.: A caller asked police to come to her house to remove her mother from her apartment. Police spoke to the women.
1:14 p.m.: A caller on East Main Street told police of suspicious activity. He said two women in their 20s came in for two bags of takeout, and ordered a large amount of food due to being with two males who were not seen. They said they came from the Boston area and were looking to see if there were any buses out of Milford. Police checked and could not locate the women.
5:12 p.m.: A caller said her ex-husband was transferring money out of her account.
5:29 p.m.: A caller on St. John Lane said a go-kart was speeding around and in front of his house, and the people on it were taunting him. Police spoke to everyone involved.
5:52 p.m.: An employee at the Portuguese Club asked to speak to an officer about youths riding around the parking lot.
5:55 p.m. A caller on Rolling Green Drive said every time her children start running around, the neighbor downstairs bangs on the ceiling.
6:27 p.m.: A caller reported her car had been struck outside HomeGoods. Damage was reported to the rear bumper. No injury resulted.
8:46 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Main Street, near Milford Federal Savings and Loan. One person was extricated and taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
9:02 p.m.: A caller said a 60-year-old man had fallen down a flight of steps at the Alamo Restaurant.
9:16 p.m.: A caller on Pheasant Circle said someone had been banging on her window. Police responded.
10:02 p.m.: A caller on Pine Island Road said she had heard loud banging noises that sounded like gunfire or fireworks.
10:27 p.m.: A caller at North Bow Street said an intoxicated man had urinated in the street and then left in a car. Police responded. Medway Police later reported they had the car pulled over near the Medway Lotus.
11:33 p.m.: A motorist said three men were loitering in the Burger King lot, attempting to walk through the drive-through.
Saturday, April 20
12:43 a.m.: A woman said she has having a problem with a gas attendant at Route 109 Mobil.
8:09 a.m.: A caller said a man was sitting in his car on Whip-o-Will Lane and appeared to be throwing trash into the road as he was cleaning is car. Police checked and everything was OK.
12:09 p.m.: An elderly woman was reported to be hurt in Stop & Shop after her motor scooter fell on her. She was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
12:37 p.m.: A caller said cast iron sewer covers had flipped off and were laying in the middle of Main at Prospect streets.
3:04 p.m.: Following a crash on Fortune Boulevard, at Cedar Street, police were seeking a summons to charge Carlos A. Oliveira, 64, of 140 Cogress St., Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having no inspection sticker.
3:51 p.m.: A caller reported a 17-year-old was out of control and assaulting her mother and father. Police responded. The young woman ws taken to Milford Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.
5:53 p.m.: A man in his 20s was reportd to be attempting to enter an apartment on Colonial Road.
8:20 p.m.: A caller at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street said two customers had gotten into an argument and one slashed the other's tires. Police arrested a 17-year-old and charged the youth with defacing or vandalizing property, and destruction of property, less than $250.
10:35 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Medway Road at Birch Street, police arrested Brian Mashaun McCoy, 21, of 15 Lincoln St., Medway, on a warrant.
11:16 p.m.: A large piece of sheet metal was hanging from the property on North Bow at Main Streets. Police contacted the property manager.
11:49 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Central Street. A caller said a person was slouched down against a wall. Police took a 41-year-old woman into protective custody.
