Police Log: Tot's Arm Stuck in Recliner, Report of Alcohol Poisoning

Sunday, July 21

8:10 p.m.: An ambulance was dispatched to Prospect Heights for a report of a man who fell, and had a head injury. The 65-year-old was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

8:23 p.m.: A caller on Purchase Street, near Shadowbrook Lane, complained of loud music and pops, possibly fireworks. Police checked and everything seemed OK.

10:04 p.m.: Milford Police assisted Hopedale Police in taking custody of a man near the Portuguese Club.

10:09 p.m.: An 18-year-old man was down on the ground on South Richard Street. Police and firefighters responded. He was released to a friend.

10:26 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report he lost three cell phones the previous night at the Portuguese Club, including an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 4.

10:47 p.m.: Police responded to a disturbance on Fruit Street Extension. A woman was reportedly intoxicated, and trying to operate a car. 

Monday, July 22

12:01 a.m.: A 40-year-old man passed out near Nelson Heights, possibly due to alcohol poisoning. Police and firefighters responded. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

9:20 a.m.: A woman reported her 2-year-old son had his arm stuck in a recliner, and she could not get it out. Police and firefighters responded to Carp Road. No transport was necessary.

10:03 a.m.: A caller on West Street reported he was being threatened.

10:32 a.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and said her friend's car had been gone through at Wendy's, and her iPhone and some cash were stolen.

12:44 p.m.: A caller on Claflin Street reported harassment.

1:06 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer about items stolen from his vehicle.

4:04 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and said her wallet had been stolen the previous night in the emergency room at Milford Regional Medical Center.
