Stop & Shop To Hire Hundreds At Weekend Job Fair
The supermarket chain wants to hire over 700 people during a hiring spree on Saturday at stores in Massachusetts.

MILFORD, MA — Stop & Shop supermarkets across the region will take part in a one-day job fair with a goal of hiring about 750 people across Massachusetts to fill part-time jobs.
Job-seekers can visit any store in Worcester, Middlesex and Norfolk counties on Saturday for an on-the-spot interview. The part-time jobs start at $15 per hour with the chance for a 30 cent raise after a month on the job.
The supermarket chain is hiring for a variety of positions, from cashiers and baggers to personal shoppers and delivery drivers.

Although the starting pay for the 28-hour-per-week jobs is just above minimum wage, the jobs come with benefits like paid time off, training and advancement opportunities, according to the company.
