This & That, Moves From Here to There

When This & That opened on Main Street the owners knew the store was small, what they didn't know, according to owner Dawn Marie Jordan, was how much more room they would actually need.

"We get so much stuff all the time, we're looking forward to have more room to display furniture and big items," Jordan said.

Dawn Marie Jordan owns and runs the company with her husband Chris. 

"[Chris] goes to all kinds of different estate sales so he's always bringing in new items," Jordan said. "The window says we take consignments but we haven't been able to because we don't have the room for it."

The move is going to be short, This & That will still be in the same building, but the business is having a moving sale to help clear out some of the old merchandise.

"Starting Nov. 20 everything in this store is going to be 50 percent off," Jordan said pointing to the many jewelry, glassware and furniture items that fill the store.

The new location will be opening on Dec. 1 with all of the same items they carry now and room for much, much more.

This & That Thrift Shop is open from Tuesdays through Saturdays, closed on Sundays and Mondays. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Wednesday, which closes at 6 p.m. Free Parking is available on the street.
