Natick Woman Nominated As Unsung Heroine

Deb Sayre is a Natick Artists Open Studios​ artist and organizer and founder and director of Kids Connect.

NATICK, MA—Rep. David Linsky has nominated Deb Sayre as one of this year's Unsung Heroines.

Sayre is a Natick Artists Open Studios artist and organizer and founder and director of Kids Connect, which is a nonprofit tutoring program that serves Natick.

Kids Connect provides educational services in math, language arts, chemistry, physics and Spanish and provides tutoring to students K-12.

"Deb’s passion and commitment to the future of Natick students shines through as she dedicates her time to ensure that they have access to these services," said the announcement from NAOS, "even if it means recycling cans to raise money."

Sayre also serves on the Executive Committee of the MetroWest Conference for Women, a group that works to provide an accessible and affordable opportunity for local women to come together and make meaningful connections, share relevant perspectives, and learn from inspiring world-class speakers. She also co-founded and has run the Natick Farmers' Market for more than 20 years.
