Upcoming Public Hearing To Focus On Natick's Water, Sewer Rates

The hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Edward H. Dlott Meeting Room of Natick Town Hall on Aug. 11.

NATICK, MA — Natick residents could see changes in their water and sewer rates next year.

But first, residents will have an opportunity to sound off and learn more at an upcoming public hearing.

The town's select board has scheduled a hearing to discuss water and sewer rates for 2022 on Wednesday, Aug. 11.

The hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Edward H. Dlott Meeting Room of Natick Town Hall, which is at 13 East Central St.

According to the town, water rates in Natick are set based upon the budgeted expenses required to run the water and sewer operations for a fiscal year.

The Board of Selectmen sets the rates for water and sewer users in Natick. This is
because in addition to being elected to the Board of Selectmen, they also serve as the water and
sewer commissioners.
