Our team serves the greater Boston area, the Berkshires, Cape Cod, and beyond, including New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont. Police in Needham are searching for a female motorist after she allegedly drove through a block party and destroyed personal property Saturday evening.Police responded to Grosvenoer Road for a report of a vehicle causing damage to personal property around 7:30 p.m.Upon arriving at the scene, witnesses told police the female driver ignored the fact that a town-permitted block party was ongoing in the area. She instead attempted to drive through it.When asked to turn around, the driver became agitated, witnesses told police. She backed over a scooter and bicycle, completely destroying both before fleeing the scene.Police have not been able to locate the suspect. The incident will remain under investigation.
