Thursday, Jan. 16

9:24 a.m.: Police responded to the Hillside School to investigate a report of damage to the grass behind the school

12:13 p.m.: Police responded to the area of 2nd Avenue and Highland Avenue for a report of a disagreement between two business owners regarding parking spaces. Both parties were informed that they need to speak with their landlord regarding the parking issue.

12:57 p.m.: Police responded to Citibank at 1000 Highland Avenue after a male party passed a check from a closed bank account to the teller and collected funds. The suspect, a 34-year-old male from Natick, will be charged with larceny by single scheme.

9:37 p.m.: A disturbance occurred at a commercial establishment on Highland Avenue between a store clerk and a customer regarding the amount owed. After speaking with all parties involved, the problem was rectified and the bill was paid. No further action was necessary.

Friday, Jan. 17

5:37 a.m.: Police responded to a West Street address for a report of a past breaking and entering with forced entry. Several items were taken from the home, and a search of the surrounding neighborhood yielded negative results. The scene was processed by detectives and released to the homeowner soon after.

11:04 a.m.: Police came upon a two-car crash on West Street. There were no injuries and minor damage to the vehicles. A massachusetts registration plate was seized from one of the vehicles due to its status as revoked/insurance cancellation. The operator at fault was cited for failing to use care and operating with an expired inspection sticker.

12:29 p.m.: Police responded to a two vehicle car crash at the intersection of Hillside and West Street. The operator of the vehicle struck was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham with minor injuries.

4:48 p.m.: A Henderson Road resident filed a police report regarding threats he received via txt messaging. Upon reading the texts, a voicemail was left for the person sending the texts to cease and desist.

6:08 p.m.: Police responded to a Manning Street address for a report of a past forced entry breaking and entering to a residence. Minimal items were taken and the scene was processed by detectives. The residents were informed to let detectives know if any other items were missing. A canvas of the neighborhood yielded negative results.
