A crossing guard in Needham was injured following a hit-and-run accident on Friday afternoon, according to police.Police were called to the intersection of High Rock Street and Central Avenue around 3:30 p.m. for a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a crossing guard.Upon arriving at the scene, officials tended to the victim. The crossing guard sustained minor injuries, police say.Witnesses in the area provided police with a description of the suspect vehicle and operator. Police are still searching for the suspect at this time.
