August 31
3:45 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Chestnut Street business for a verbal altercation. At the scene, 83-year-old Della Mele of Braintree was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and trespassing.
September 1

10:30 a.m. - A Lawton Road resident reported that he was a victim of identity theft. Someone opened a Sprint account in his name. Sprint was notified and will investigate.
1:15 p.m. - A Chambers Street resident reported that her car was hit while parked in a space on Chestnut Street. This occurred during the previous day at about 3 p.m. There were no witnesses to the crash.

2:45 p.m. - An officer took a report of larceny from an employee at a Chestnut Street business. The matter is under investigation. It was a cash for a check mail scam.
September 2
5:15 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Chestnut Street address. The reporting person stated that a woman called her "useless" because she had made her coffee incorrectly. The unknown woman had left prior to the officer’s arrival.
