The following reports were provided by the Needham Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, March 14

• A Great Plain Avenue business received threats. Upon arriving, police spoke to an employee, who said a customer made threats overnight while talking to customer service. Customer service calls are recorded. During the conversation, the 47-year-old Needham caller made some threats, Police summonsed him to court for threats to commit a crime.
• After an ongoing investigation at Needham High School, at about 3:15 p.m. police arrested 17-year-old Giorgio Meriggi of Needham and charged him with distribution of a class-D substance (marijuana), distribution within a school zone, possession withi ntent to distribute a class E substance, and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act.
• 6:35 p.m., at the 1330 block of Highland Avenue police responded to a disturbance on a MBTA bus. After speaking to those on board and investigating, they asked a woman passenger to take another bus.

Friday, March 15

• A Medfield resident parked her car on Pine Grove Street, at about 3 p.m., and returned to find the rear window on her car broken. No one was seen around the car, and she was advised to report the incident to her insurance company.

Saturday, March 16

• Police responded to a business on Central Avenue for a reported past breaking-and-entering, where it appeared that someone pried open an outdoor security gate. It seemed this party was unable to get into the building. While on the scene, police also saw fresh tagging on the building. 
• At about 10:15 p.m., police went to a Coulton Park address for a loud party coming from a house in the area. Police say people were dispersing from the party, and officers spoke with a resident of the address. The 17-year-old Needham man will be charged for being a minor in possession of alcohol, and providing alcohol to minors.
• Police placed a 22-year-old man into protective custody after he lead police on a foot chase in the Webster Street/West Street area. The Hoover Road resident reportedly got out of a car on Webster Street and began walking while intoxicated. He ran away from his friends, and could not be found. Police released him into his father's care and have no charges pending.

Sunday, March 17

• Police responded to a report of a cyclist hit by a car on Dedham Avenue, at about 9 a.m. The cyclist refused medical treatment, and was given a courtesy transport to his place of employment.
