Tuesday, Feb. 26
- Police responded to an address on Second Avenue, where a party reported check fraud before 10:45 a.m. The reporting party said the fraudulent checks were not cashed, and that they closed the account to prevent future issues.
- 11 a.m., Highland Avenue at Morton Street, police received a reported vehicle crash involving a trailer truck, possibly injuries involved. The driver of the car was tane to the hospital with minor injuries, and the truck driver was cited for failing to use care when stopping.

- A woman living on Junction Street reported that she was the victimg of credit card fraud. At 7:45 a.m., she reported that an undisclosed amount was charged to the card.
- Webster Street at Howland, a tree company reportedly took down some wires, at about 10:30 a.m. The utility pole and some power, phone and cable lines were knocked down as a portion of the tree fell on the lines. Power was knocked out to the area, and the road was closed for several hours.
- Before 5 p.m., a South Street resident reported that her identity had been stolen, and several credit cards had been used in Florida. Police took a report, and advised her to contact credit bureaus.
