Needham Teen Cited For Trespassing, Driving Without License

A 16-year-old Needham resident was caught trespassing at the Town Forest at 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

A Needham teenager will be heading to court after police caught him trespassing and operating a vehicle without a license early Wednesday morning.

At 1:45 a.m., an officer spotted a vehicle with its headlights on in the rear driveway of the Town Forest, a wooded 200-acre park.

The driver was considered to be trespassing, since it was during after hours. As the officer approached, the driver attempted to leave, but was stopped.

Police identified the driver as a 16-year-old resident from Needham. A brief record check revealed the operator was unlicensed.

The teenager was criminally cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. His parents were notified and responded to the scene. He’ll be summonsed to court on a later date.
