Rockets Review: NHS Spring Sports Start Today

The following is an edited list sent by the Needham High Athletics Department: 

Students who do not have all paperwork in (GOLD Form, GREEN Form & current Doctor's Physical) or have an unreturned uniform from the fall or winter, will not be eligible to begin today. Eligibility lists are posted outside of the Athletic Office and have been sent to all coaches. Questions should be directed to Ms. Langley or Mr. Hauben and please check http://nhs.needham.k12.ma.us/athletics for weather updates and changes.

Baseball Tryouts

(students should bring gear and clothing for inside & outside workouts)

• All 10th-12th Graders & Freshman Catchers should report to the B Gym at 3:00 p.m. (some athletes may also travel to use St. Sebs turf baseball diamond) 
• Tryouts for all other 9th Graders will begin on Tuesday

Boys Lacrosse Tryouts

• All 10th-12th Graders should report to DeFazio Founders Field (Turf #2) at 3:15 p.m.
• All 9th Graders should report to the Memorial Field Turf (parking lot side) at 3:30 p.m.

Girls Lacrosse Tryouts

• All 10th-12th Graders should report to DeFazio Brock Field (Turf #1) at 3:15 p.m.
• All 9th Graders should report to DeFazio Brock Field at 4:00 p.m.

Rugby Practice

• All Grades report to Dance Studio at 3:00 p.m.

Softball Practice

(students should bring gear and clothing for inside & outside workouts)

• All Grades should report to Wrestling Room at 3:00 p.m.

Tennis Tryouts

• GIRLS: NHS Tennis Courts (times sent out by Coach Fidurko & will be posted)
• BOYS: Scheduled to start on Tuesday, weather permitting

Boys and Girls Track and Field Practice

• All Grades report to Cafeteria after school

Boys Volleyball Tryouts

• All Grades report to A Gym after school

Spring Athletic User Fee Information

The Spring 2013 Athletic User Fee Payment Deadline is Tuesday, April 2nd - Please either mail in (Needham High School, 609 Webster Street, 02494, Attention: Athletic Department) or have payment dropped off in the Athletic Office.

The per-athlete User Fee each season is $285.00. Reduction of Fee Request Forms are also available for pick up in the Athletic Office. Please make all checks payable to: NHS Athletics.

NEW FOR 2012-13! All students paying an Athletic User Fee, for any season, will receive a Needham Student-Athlete Sticker to be placed on their NHS Student ID. Students presenting Student ID with Sticker at home regular-season athletic events will receive free admission (some restrictions apply).
