The Board of Selectmen honored both the Division I Champion Soccer Team, and their Captain, Mac Steeves at last night's Board of Selectmen meeting. Noting that Steeves' father and grandfather were both firefighters, Selectman Daniel Matthews noted "so it's no surprise he knows how to respond to a tense situation." Gatorade and USA Today's High School Sports section teamed up to award their Player of the Year award to a Needham Rocket in February, which the Board presented last night.
