The 10 Most-Read Newton Public Library Books Of 2019

Here's what Newton was reading in 2019. Plenty of manga fans in the Garden City.

NEWTON, MA — Out of the thousands of books the Newton Public Library loaned out last year, there are a just a few that were borrowed over and over again. The library has released its list of most-read books of 2019, and it shows top 10 most checked out titles.

So what topped the list? Teens love their manga (Japanese comic books) and a memoir by Tara Westover got some attention. Here's a look at the list:
