NEWTON, MA — Two Newton North High School seniors have been awarded scholarships for their environmental contributions.

Soon-to-be graduates Finley Crane and Dalton Johnson have been named the recipients of this year’s $1,000 Bullough’s Pond Association Scholarships. Both have a history of assisting in clean-ups and other community service at the pond, as well as academic studies that focus on the environment.
This coming Fall, Crane is slated to study forensic and environmental science at Fordham University, while Johnson will be heading to the College of Charleston to study marine biology and environmental science.

The BPA began this scholarship program in 2020.
