We are saddened by the loss of a life-long Democratic activist, our friend Fay Cohen.

COHEN, Fay G. (Grandberg) -- Devoted mother of Steven M. Cohen & his wife Susan Read and the late Deborah E. Cohen. Dear sister of the late Arnold B. Grandberg. Fond aunt of Kenneth & Marcy Grandberg, James & Merle Grandberg and their families. Longtime good friend of Jay Goldman.

A proud graduate of Wellesley College, Fay was a longtime political advocate and an administrative assistant to Lois Pines and Cynthia Creem, a true Democrat.

Services at The Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Thursday, December 29 at 12:00 noon. Interment at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, 2619 Centre Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance at her late residence following the interment through 8:00pm and continuing on Friday, 1:00-4:00pm.
