The pitching for the perfect game was a combined effort between starting pitcher Mitsuharu Ohta, who threw 62 pitches, and closer Brandon Elias, who threw four pitches. Ohta recorded 11 strikeouts on the day and the team as a whole had no errors. The Phillies recorded a 3-0 victory at Jay Gordon Field (Homer Street), improving to a record of 3-9 on the season.
