Authorities Identify Man Killed in Newton When Run Over by Mother

The incident appears to be a "tragic accident" according to the Middlesex DA's Office.

Newton authorities have identified the man killed when he was run over by a minivan being driven by his mother Tuesday afternoon.

Bruce Levine, 44, was hit in a Donna Road driveway when the vehicle backed over him and then struck the garage, according to a report in the Boston Herald.

No charges have been brought against the mother, Estafaye Levine, 69, a Middlesex District Attorney’s Office spokesperson told the Herald.
