Newton authorities have identified the man killed when he was run over by a minivan being driven by his mother Tuesday afternoon. Bruce Levine, 44, <a href="https://newton.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/man-killed-in-newton-when-mother-backs-over-him-with-minivan">was hit in a Donna Road driveway when the vehicle backed over him</a> and then struck the garage, <a href="http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/local_coverage/2013/08/da_probes_tragic_accident_after_newton_mom_runs_over_adult_son" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to a report in the Boston Herald</a>. No charges have been brought against the mother, Estafaye Levine, 69, a Middlesex District Attorney's Office spokesperson told the Herald. The incident appears to be a "tragic accident" but following protocol the DA's office will continue to investigate.
