Bike Theft, School Mischief in Newton: Police Logs
Stolen bikes, breaking and entering, and school mischief. Here are the Newton Police Logs for the weekend.

Friday, Aug. 11
Lock your cars! Police responded to a Wood End Road break-in of a motor vehicle.
Saturday, Aug. 12
Bike thefts continue. Police responded a report of a stolen bicycle. Reporter said that his family had returned home from a bike ride at 5:30p.m. on Friday, and forgot to lock the garage. The next morning, three items were missing, including a child's purple bicycle, an adult teal bike, and a silver razor scooter. The razor scooter and purple bicycle were later found on the side of the road. Another bike was taken from a porch on Washburn Avenue between 2:30-4:00pm.

Sunday, Aug. 13
Lock your doors! Police responded to a report of breaking and entering on Prince Street, to find a room in disarray.
Monday, Aug. 14
Schools out, but mischief makers don't care. Police responded a report at Williams Elementary for "malicious damage overnight." A large planter, chair and plastic bucket were broken and overturned.
