Bon Me Officially Opens This Week

CHESTNUT HILL, MA – Bon Me (www.bonmetruck.com), Boston’s rapidly- expanding group of Vietnamese street food restaurants and food trucks, has an official grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 9 a.m. at its new Chestnut Hill Square location.

Samples of Bon Me’s delicious offerings and bubble tea will be served.

Since 2010, Bon Me’s “playful and fresh take on Vietnamese street food has met with unprecedented response propelling the company on a path of remarkable growth,” said a spokesperson.

The Chestnut Hill Square location is the fifth Bon Me restaurant, while also operating six food trucks in the greater Boston marketplace.

Bon Me launched as a food truck in 2011 after owners Patrick Lynch and Alison Fong won The City of Boston’s Food Truck Challenge in 2010.

Bon Me has been named “Best Food Truck” in the city by Boston magazine and earned a coveted spot at the new Boston Public Market, the very first public market of its kind with a dedication to locally-sourced menu items.

“We are excited to bring our concept to Chestnut Hill Square,” explains Ali Fong, co-owner of Bon Me, in a statement.“Bon Me’s name comes from the classic Vietnamese sandwich, banh mi, but beyond these delicious sandwiches our guests enjoy homemade brown rice bowls, soba noodle bowls, our signature devil-tea eggs, and specialty drinks including bubble tea. We know that the shoppers of Chestnut Hill will be excited to try the bold and fresh tastes of our Vietnamese food which is full of healthful ingredients and flavor.”
