Catherine M. (Prezioso) Prestejohn, 91, Founder of Cabot's Ice Cream

Catherine M. (Prezioso) Prestejohn, 91, founder of Cabot's Ice Cream, passed away on April 26, 2013. 

Prestejohn and her husband, the late Joseph E. Prestejohn, operated a number of restaurants in the Boston area. The two ran the Center Delicatessen in Arlington and the Boulevard Restaurant in Allston before opening Cabot's Ice Cream in Newtonville in 1969, according to her obituary. 

Prestejohn worked at the Newtonville restaurant daily with her daughter, Sue, and son, Joe, until shortly before her death, her obituary read.
