Council Rock School District Calendar 2018-19: First Day

NEWTOWN, PA — The first day of school in the Council Rock School District is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Council Rock School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/10 - 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/10: Early Dismissal

November

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/7: No School
• 11/19 - 11/20: Early Dismissal/Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/29: Early Dimissal

February

• 2/15 - 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day Weekend)

March

• 3/8: Early Dismissal

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Recess)
