UPDATED: Male Body Found in Waltham Section of Charles River [VIDEO]
State Police are investigating a dead body found in the Charles River in Waltham along Crescent Street.
Update 5 p.m.:
The Middlesex County District Attorney's Office told Patch the body found today in the Charles River is that of a middle-aged white man. He has no obvious signs of trauma, according to the DA's office.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death and the identity of the man.

Initial reports of a body floating in the river came in around 1:30 p.m., the DA's office said.

State Police have pulled a body from the Charles River along Crescent Street in Waltham, just up the river from Newton.
Police have not released many details, but Waltham Patch editor Ryan Grannan-Doll witnessed the body being placed in a state medical examiner's van at 137 Crescent St. Waltham Police, via Twitter, said State Police are investigating the incident.
The location where the body was recovered is just over a mile from in Newton.
A Crescent street neighbor, who only gave his first name, Robert, said a detective told him that kayakers in the river found the body and reported it.
State Police and Waltham firefighters searched the river for at least 30 minutes before pulling the body out.
