Bill's Pizzeria 5K Road Race will raise money to benefit the Travis Roy Foundation, an organization that helps spinal cord injury survivors and funds research for spinal cord injuries. The race begins at Mason-Rice Elementary School, passes Crystal Lake and onto Walnut Street, eventually coming up Homer Street and Centre Street to the finish line.  The race looks to raise $5,000 for the foundation. Registration is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the race. Runners can show up to register between 7:30-8:45 on the race day and those who are pre-registered will be able to pick up race numbers at Bill's Pizzeria prior to the race. A pizza party at Bill's will be held after the race with live music and an awards ceremony.
