Fall Clean-up of Hemlock Gorge

The following is a press release issued by the Friends of Hemlock Gorge:

 Volunteers are needed to join the Department of Conservation and Recreation and The Friends of the Hemlock Gorge Reservation, a nonprofit organization, for the Annual Fall Clean Up of the Hemlock Gorge Reservation.

The clean-up will take place on Sat., October 22, 2011 from 10 a.m. to noon. Materials and tools will be supplied and refreshments will be provided after the clean up.

Please dress appropriately for the work and the weather (rain or shine). Meet at the parking lot at Hamilton Place which is just off Elliott Street. Additional parking available at the Mills Falls complex.

The Friends of Hemlock Gorge is a volunteer community organization dedicated to preserving and improving the Hemlock Gorge, a 23 acre reservation along the Charles River in Needham, Newton and Wellesley.
