Editor's Note: We are re-featuring this event to show the photos that have been uploaded of candles lit for Franco.

One of his co-workers, Jeremy Petersen, has asked that everyone take time tonight to light a candle in their home and say a prayer for Garcia.

Garcia worked at a CVS in Waltham and was a Chemistry major at BC. He also played in the school's marching band, symphonic band and pep band.

Many of Garcia's friends have already changed their Facebook photos to candles in honor of this event.

Here is the message from Petersen's Facebook invitation:

Attention all Friends: As you may have seen the past few weeks I've been posting about the guy Franco from my work that is missing. It's such a sad story and we just want some answers! Im posting again to ask all of my friends, to please take a few minutes of your time Monday night (3/5) and please just light a candle for Franco and his family. A single candle to show that he and his family are in your thoughts/prayers.

Let's all unite and light a candle to help lead Franco home.

At this moment in life his family could really use our prayers and positive energy in hopes that Franco gets home safely and soon! Please join the Facebook group to get awareness out there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/224465344316495/

Please, whether you are an east coast or west coast friend, Please light a candle on Monday, March 5th for Franco. Feel free to post the candle pics on the Facebook group to show his family your thoughts are with them. A moment of your time could mean the world to the Garcia's at times like this! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The event does not take place at Boston College. Friends of Franco are asked to light a candle tonight in their own home to honor the missing student.

Anyone is welcome to upload photos of their candles to this event by clicking the 'upload photos' button below the photo.
