Newton Mayor to Host Reception for Global Dignitaries, Business and Cultural Leaders

Newton Mayor Setti Warren will welcome diplomats from around the globe at a reception held at this Thursday, Feb. 9
The event, which will be held in the War Memorial, begins at 5 p.m.
According to a press release issued by Warren's office, the guest list includes Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Greg Bialecki and Dean of the Consul General Corp of Boston and Consul General of Finland Leonard Kopelman.

Local business and cultural leaders are slated to attend as well as consul generals from:

The reception will feature live music, artwork and a sampling of food from local restaurants, the press release said.
