Fire On Table Brings Newton Firefighters To Underwood Ave
A spokesperson for the Newton Fire Department said crews were able to put the fire out quickly.

NEWTON, MA — Firefighters fought a fire at an Underwood Avenue home Sunday evening. Someone called around 6 p.m. to report a fire on a table in a bedroom on the second floor, according to officials. Crews arrived and were able to put it out quickly, a spokesperson told Patch.
It's not clear if anyone was injured. Fire officials said there was some water damage to the room, but it wasn't a large fire. No word yet on just what started the fire.
