Green Line Train Malfunctions With Braking Issue: Report

The train began smoking while it was in service.

NEWTON, MA — An MBTA Green Line train had to be taken out of service after it began smoking from a brake issue, according to a report from 7 News Boston.

The incident occurred near Newton Highlands station at approximately 5:30 p.m. this past Saturday. There were reportedly no injuries.
