Hemlock Gorge Concert, Needham St. Update, Land Use Committee
A few things you need to know in Newton for Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013.

1. Tuesday night brings the annual concert and picnic to Hemlock Gorge. Grab your picnic and listen to Broken Rose sing the evening away.
2. The city is offering dog training and etiquette classes for any Newton resident with a licensed pooch. Register now for one of several three upcoming dates next week and the week after.
3. The Land Use Committee will be talking Riverside Development Tuesday evening, among other topics. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in room 222 at Newton City Hall.
4. The business community along Needham Street is invited to an update meeting Tuesday night at the NewTV studios. The update will take place from 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
5. Head to the Newton Free Library Tuesday evening for a performance by the Ezekiel's Wheels Klezmer Band. The award-winning band will kick off its free concert at 7:30 p.m.
