MassDOT Meeting To Discuss Future Of Newton Rotary

The state organization is inviting community members to attend a planning study meeting.

NEWTON, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced it will be hosting a meeting about the Newton Corner Long Term Planning Study on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

The study’s goal is to develop transportation alternatives and improvements to the Newton Corner rotary located at Exit 127 off Interstate Route 90 to decrease traffic and improve safety.
The virtual meeting is slated to begin at 4 p.m. with the MassDOT study team presenting their work on future conditions for the area, the development of alternatives, and issues they discovered.

The meeting can be registered for on the study’s website. A public information meeting also scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
