Needham Street Update for Business Community
The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce invites business owners, employees and property owners along Needham Street to a meeting providing updated information as to the master plan for the area. Newton city officials as well as MassDOT officials will be on hand to answer questions and explain the project. The meeting is Tuesday morning, Aug. 6, at 7:30 at the NewTV studios (23 Easy Street). The Friends of Hemlock Gorge and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation will host the annual concert and picnic at Hamilton Place in Needham. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, your dinner and listen as the Broken Rose Band performs Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m.Dancing in the Park
The Tom Nutile Big Band will be at Coletti-Magni Park Wednesday evening at 7 to bring the sounds of Big Band-era music to listerners. Dance the night away at the park.Newton Open Studios Summer Selective
