Newton Bertucci's Rolls Out Special Menu With '80s Prices
To celebrate being in business for more than 40 years, Bertucci's is offering a throwback menu with some meals for as little as $3.25.

NEWTON, MA — As Bertucci's Italian restaurant celebrates 40 years of business, the Massachusetts-based chain with a location in Newton is offering a special throwback menu - priced like it's the 1980's.
For four days in July, the chain will offer dine-in customers the chance to get menu items for as little as $3.25 to $6 for ten menu items.
Select menu items will be offered at a nearly 75 percent discount to commemorate with the prices of the first restaurant, which opened in Somerville in 1981.

Known for their brick-oven pizzas, heaping pasta portions, and bread rolls, Bertucci's has been a family name for years. But rising gas prices have created a minor setback for the chain, as delivering food has become more expensive than serving in-house. Earl says this promotion is his way of offering momentary help to his customers during uncertain times.
"You got 40 years of local, loyal customers," Robert Earl, CEO of Bertucci's said in a statement. "Prices are going through the roof because of the labor supply and supply chain of food. You turn on any TV and all you see is recession and inflation.”

Headquartered in Northborough, Bertucci's has over 50 locations with spots in 10 East Coast states and is still looking to expand.
The throwback pricing promotion will be available for dine-in only customers on July 6 and 7, and then again on July 13 and 14.
