Newton Fire Department Battles Two House Fires

Two separate homes in town caught fire on Tuesday.

NEWTON, MA — The Newton Fire Department extinguished two single-family home fires Tuesday.

The two blazes occurred on 36 Anthony Circle and 136 Washington St. According to the department, neither resulted in any injuries.

The causes of both fires remain under investigation.
