Newton Pitching In More For Certain Rideshare Users
Fees for the less-than-one-year-old program have already been reduced.
NEWTON, MA — Mayor Ruthanne Fuller announced that prices for a town transportation service are lowering.
GoGo Newton launched last summer to provide seniors, adults with disabilities, and low-income earners with Uber and Lyft rides that best cater to their needs and budget. According to the city, more than 1,100 residents have used the service since its inception.

For Low Income users, initial fees have reduced from $6 to $4. For Older Adults and People With Disabilities, the initial fee is now $6 in comparison to the previous $8.
