Newton Man Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize

The winning ticket was purchased at the Lynnfield Street Market.

NEWTON, MA — Auburndale resident Piyushkumar Patel won $1 million in the state lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” instant ticket game.

Patel purchased his winning ticket at a store on 263 Lynnfield St. in Lynn. He opted to receive his winnings all at once, which nets him a payment of $650,000 after taxes. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Patel plans to purchase a business with his winnings.
