The dog is an eight-pound male chihuahua with a white patch on his chest, a nick on his left ear, and a Seresto collar, said police.

NEWTON, MA — Update: this dog has been reunited with his owner.
The Newton Police department is searching for the owner of a dog found Saturday in the 300 block of Boylston Street.
The dog is an eight-pound male chihuahua with a white patch on his chest, a nick on his left ear, and a Seresto collar, said police. He is currently safe at Veterinary Emergency Group, located at 165 Needham Street in Newton.
