Our team serves the greater Boston area, the Berkshires, Cape Cod, and beyond, including New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont. NEWTON, MA — Update: this dog has been reunited with his owner.The Newton Police department is searching for the owner of a dog found Saturday in the 300 block of Boylston Street. The dog is an eight-pound male chihuahua with a white patch on his chest, a nick on his left ear, and a Seresto collar, said police. He is currently safe at Veterinary Emergency Group, located at 165 Needham Street in Newton. Anyone with questions may call Animal Control Officer Stacia Gorgone at 617-796-2123.
