Newton Police Seeking Potential Credit Card Thief

Multiple credit cards were stolen from a car and used in Watertown locations.

NEWTON, MA — The Newton Police Department is looking to identify a person it believes to be involved in a credit card theft that took place on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

The person was caught on surveillance footage at a Watertown Best Buy, where it is believed they used the multiple credit cards after taking them from a vehicle parked at the Newton YMCA on Centre Street. The person is seen wearing a red winter hat and a black jacket in the images captured. According to police, the credit cards were also used at a Watertown CVS.
