Newton Supermarket Closed Due To Potential Health Hazard: Report
The local location of this popular grocery store chain had to be shut down earlier this week.

NEWTON, MA — A popular grocery store had to be abruptly closed this week by the city due to a health hazard, according to a report from Boston 25 News.
According to Newton’s Health and Human Services Commissioner Shin-Yi Lao, the Star Market that sits above the Mass Pike on 33 Austin St. had to be closed due to a potential asbestos breakout caused by recent demolition work conducted recently.
The grocery store has been closed since approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
