Newton Teen Located Safe After Hours-Long Search On Tuesday Night

Newton police said at about 11 p.m. that the North High student had been located roughly five hours after he had last been seen.

NEWTON, MA — A Newton teen whose disappearance after leaving Newton North High School shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday sparked an hours-long search across the city was found safe on Tuesday night.

Newton police said the 17-year-old was found at about 11 p.m.

Police had sought the public's help in finding the teen.
