NEWTON, MA – The spookiest day of the year is upon us, and Newton is sure to be flooded with trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.

The city does not have set trick-or-treating hours, although Mayor Ruthanne Fuller has asked residents to be extra aware of all the ghosts and goblins.

"The forecast for Monday night, Oct. 31, is looking pretty good,” Fuller said in a community update. "Please leave on porch lights and slow down for all the ghosts and goblins."
