Newton-Wellesley Named Among Top 100 Cancer Hospitals In America
Newton-Wellesley was ranked 96th of the 175 hospitals that made the list.

NEWTON, MA — Newton-Wellesley Hospital has been named among the top 100 cancer hospitals in America, according to new rankings released by Newsweek.
“This recognition is a testament to the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of every member of our remarkable team,” Ellen Moloney, president and chief operating officer of Newton-Wellesley Hospital, said in a statement. “As an organization, we are committed to excellence in providing compassionate, cutting-edge cancer care close to our patients’ homes.”
Newton-Wellesley was ranked 96th of the 175 hospitals that made the list. Newsweek compiled the rankings, with global market research and consumer data firm Statista, based on three data sources: a nationwide online survey, hospital quality metrics, and patient experience.

“While nothing can stop the worry after receiving the diagnosis of a serious illness, having access to some of the best cancer treatment facilities in the country may provide hope,” said Nancy Cooper, Newsweek’s global editor in chief on the publication’s website. “Congratulations to the many health care professionals who devoted themselves to making these hospitals the best.”
