Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Newton Motor Vehicle Collision: Report

NEWTON, MA — A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a vehicle on Route 9 Tuesday morning, according to a report from Boston 25 News.

The collision was reportedly witnessed by a State Trooper when the car was travelling on the westbound side of the route near The Shops at Chestnut Hill on Boylston Street.
The pedestrian was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver remained on-site after the incident.
