NEWTON, MA — It's Friday, Oct. 30, and it's a winter wonderland before it's even November. Let us distract you with what Patch has been covering in greater Boston and across Massachusetts today.

On at least one street of Belmont, residents have put up kooky skeleton decorations with signs that say "Enjoy the Skeletons, for your safety and ours there will be no trick or treating."
