Missing Teen: Newton Police Looking For Juvenile

NEWTON, MA — The police department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile.

Joel Ivan Castillo Suriel was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 9 at approximately 12 p.m. on Los Angeles Street. He was reportedly wearing a green and black Celtics zipper jacket, white shorts, and black slides at the time of his disappearance.

Police describe him as Hispanic and five feet and 11 inches tall with a thin build. He reportedly has ties to Boston, Dorchester, and Roxbury areas and could possibly be in one of those communities. According to the department, Castillo Suriel does not have a cell phone or money.
